‘Working primarily in ceramics, a majority of my pieces are created through a combination of handbuilding techniques. The slower, meditative pace of handbuilding enables me to establish a deep connection between myself and the material. Using traditional techniques, I employ these methods and insights to explore new possibilities. I aim to investigate the way my pieces can serve as sites to imagine and propose emergent potentials not only for the individual, but also the collective.’
